This is a working draft for the Estavelle pilot. It will be reviewed and finalised before the platform accepts payments in live mode. If you have questions in the meantime, email hello@estavelle.co.uk.
Who we are
Estavelle is a trading name operated from the North East of England. We act as the data controller for the personal data you provide through this website and our correspondence with you.
What we collect
- Contact details you submit (name, email, telephone, postcode).
- Information about your site, requirement or operator brief.
- Correspondence, meeting notes and documents you share with us.
- First-party page views and interaction events (see “Measurement” below).
- Payment metadata handled by our processor (Stripe) when a booking is invoiced.
Why we hold it
- To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a free Asset Passport.
- To introduce vetted parties to each other, with your consent, and manage bookings.
- To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
Who sees it
Your details are private by default. We share them only where you have asked us to (for example, introducing you to an operator or customer) or where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep active records for the duration of our engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards for legitimate business, legal and accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete your data at any time; some records may be retained where the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, restriction or portability. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Please email us first and we'll aim to resolve any concern quickly.
Measurement, cookies and Microsoft Clarity
We use two categories of measurement on this site. You can change either at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
Strictly necessary (always on)
A small amount of storage is used to keep you signed in, remember your progress in the Asset Passport wizard (via a token in the resume link you email yourself), and remember your cookie preference. Without these, the site can’t function. No third parties are involved.
First-party events (no cookies, no consent required)
We count page views and simple interaction events (which button was clicked, which wizard step was completed). The session identifier lives only in memory for the duration of the browser tab and is never written to your device. No cookies, no localStorage, no fingerprinting. We built it this way deliberately so you don’t need to consent for us to see whether pages are working. Do Not Track is respected.
Measurement (Microsoft Clarity), opt-in only
If you agree to the Measurement category, we load Microsoft Clarity on our public pages and the Asset Passport intake wizard. Clarity records anonymised session replays and heatmaps so we can see where people struggle. We configure it with all text and form inputs masked by default, your name, email, phone, and site addresses are not captured. Clarity is a Microsoft product; enabling it involves a transfer of usage data to Microsoft. Microsoft is based in the United States, so that data leaves the UK. Clarity retains recording data for up to about 13 months.
Clarity is never loaded on admin pages, your account area, payment pages, quote links, match links, provider approval links, or owner-share Passport links.
You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settingsin the footer. When you withdraw, we stop the script and best-effort clear the Clarity cookies and stored data from your device.
